Uniting to Combat Neglected Tropical Diseases: Ending the Neglect and Reaching 2020 Goals
At this event, DNDi Executive Director Dr. Bernard Pecoul spoke about the urgent need to fill the remaining R&D gaps in order to control NTDs. Other speakers included Bill Gates, Margaret Chan, pharmaceutical company CEOs, UK and US international aid officials, World Bank, and Ministry of Health officials of five NTD-endemic countries: Bangladesh, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Mozambique, and Tanzania.
